Digital Karnali Conclave 2024
Digital Karnali Conclave 2024 is an initiative to incline all the concerned actors and stakeholders towards the vision of Digital Karnali Province. It acts as an event to discuss and draft a conclusion towards digitizing the province, with the participation of concerned stakeholders, people, and parties. The participating panellists range from, but are not limited to, Ministers, policymakers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, and academicians.

The objectives of the Digital Karnali Conclave at the provincial levels include fostering collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation of technology initiatives, addressing local needs, promoting digital inclusion, and enhancing governance through informed decision-making.

The Conclave helps in driving economic growth by promoting the use of digital technologies in various sectors. It helps in creating new business models, generating new jobs, and enhancing productivity and competitiveness.

This conclave discusses strategies for bridging the digital divide, addressing barriers to digital inclusion, and promoting gender equality and social inclusion in the context of digital development efforts in Karnali.

- Bringing together experts, thought leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss and deliberate on digital transformation, innovation, and the use of technology to drive growth and development in a particular sector or region.
- Identifying and discussing policy recommendations and strategies that can support the development and growth of a digital economy, including areas such as digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital skills development.
- Providing a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and experiences related to the digital ecosystem, including emerging technologies, policies, and initiatives.
- Ensure Policy alignment of local and provincial digital transformation policies with national strategies to create a cohesive and synergistic approach.
- Develop strategies to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that all citizens, regardless of location, have access to digital tools and resources.
- Preparing the province for the upcoming digital transformations and making it globally a digitally empowered nation.

Event Highlights:
The event will consist of an official opening followed by opening remarks by experts and their collective panel discussion on transforming the province towards a digital path. The prime minister and province chief minister will address the issues. The conclusion ends with a collective result that comes out as a drafted policy that needs to be implemented to fulfil the goal of digital Nepal.

Our goal is to drive development in Karnali through conclusive discussions. Scheduled for 17th and 18th Falgun, this conclave will gather participants from various sectors including local government, education, information technology, private enterprises, industry associations, and the public, with the aim of digitizing the province and ensuring its success.”
